➤➤➤ where: the beginning is by Metro Ratusz Arsenał station (on the side of Długa street)

➤ ATTENTION: we ask you to bring a charged phone with internet access and headphones. All texts and sounds will appear during the event under this link, all you have to do is copy it and open it in your phone’s browser.

What is it like to be far away when a revolution, protests, and arrests are happening in your country? – This question became an impulse to start works on the „Strefa / BY project” (Zone / BY project) initiated by female and male performers of Strefa WolnoSłowa (FreeWord Zone) of Belarusian descent. A group of few people was created, that has been meeting regularly since autumn of 2020. During these meetings, we talk a lot – about what is happening in Belarus, what happens to our loved ones, that are in the centre of these events. And about what it is like to be in Poland at that time, following the news from home through Telegram and other communicators. We talk, write, and transfer our words and emotions into movement and sounds.

➤ female and male creator: Lizaveta Bibikava, Alicja Borkowska, Ray Dickaty, Rita Guretskaya, Maksim Jus, Veranika Los, Joanna Mueller, Bazhena Shamovich, Sasha Shapielevich, Aliaksandr Unukovich, Łukasz Wójcicki.

These events are realised within the „Dramaturgie społeczne” (Social Dramaturgies) project, organized by Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw and Fundacja Strefa WolnoSłowa (FreeWord Zone Foundation), thanks to the financial support of the city of Warsaw.
