SYNOPSIS

RESPONSIBILITY documents the ongoing humanitarian crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border.

RESPONSIBILITY is a co-production by CENTRALA, Salam.Lab, the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and Teatr Powszechny.

RESPONSIBILITY asks: has there been an unlawful violation of human rights on the Polish-Belarusian border, and if so, who is legally responsible.

RESPONSIBILITY’s three threads:

1) the fate of the refugees,

2) an analysis of the legal responsibility for their suffering,

3) fragments of J. S. Bach's St. Matthew Passion.
