SYNOPSIS

Walerian Borowczyk – during the revolution of 1968 he was one of the most important polish directors. He finished his career in the atmosphere of scandals, molestation accusations, and directing erotic tv productions in the ‘90s. He always said: "I don’t make erotic films, I make films about freedom".

While referring to the most important "immoral stories" from Borowczyk’s works, we create our own, while trying to reflect on the question: to what extent does speaking of freedom and a person's individuality happen through talking about sexuality and desire? How to speak of the autonomy of an individual to avoid violence and not to bring everything down to a story about it? Is it possible to create a safe space for work and dialogue with the audience in our current time of more victims’ testimonies in theater and film?

Immoral stories directed by Jakub Skrzywanek were inspired by Walerian Borowczyk’s films, the story of Roman Polański, and a documentary about the modern culture of fandom and fetish. All of it to see where our borders in telling and watching are, and to see where our individual freedom is and how it can be realized.
