LAS (FOREST) – a sensory and sound installation for children
We like walks in the forest, the smell of leaves and air. The forest’s silence booming with thousands of sounds, the peace, the bliss, the deep breath among the trees that brings relaxation, and the constant movement - of trees, branches, birds, animals. In the FOREST we will try to evoke all of these inspirations through shapes, forms, textures, and sounds, so that we can create a shelter from the rush and noise of the city, a place for relaxation and carefree, but wise fun.
Into the world of the forest we are led through a story of a tree, that before it became one, it lived as a small seed in a warm, soft, fragrant, moist soil. An open structure of the show will allow the children to smoothly transition from the position of viewers to the role of active participants that get to know the richness of the FOREST with all of their senses.

„LAS” (FOREST) is a space for touching, experimenting, pulling, moving, taking out, playing, rolling, and squeezing through. This space responds to the natural need of experiencing the world by the youngest, of collective play between children and adults and children with other children. It’s a space for observation and action.
At the weekend, older children (2.5 years old to 6 years old, shows at 12:30 pm) will be offered a sound fairytale - „Opowieść o drzewie” (A tale about a tree) - in which the music sets the mood and background for words. The creators recall the forest’s sounds encouraging the viewers to act together - make sounds or perform simple movements.
Due to the specific nature of „LAS” (FOREST), all viewers will be asked to remove their shoes before entering the space of the installation. Wearing masks covering mouths and noses and disinfecting hands is mandatory. We invite all children between 6 months to 6 years old with their parents.
