Mojo Mickybo is a brilliant story about the friendship of two boys: Mojo and Mickybo. It dates back to the 70s which witnessed riots in Belfast. ”Two boys, two great boys…” in the world of hatred, betrayal, violence, try to save the world, the world of childish sensitivity. It is not a story about entering adulthood; it’s a story about the adulthood that brutally enters our lives.
Will Mojo and Mickybo, surrounded by artificial division, be able to save their friendship? Or will they share the fate of two gunslingers who managed to break through and flee to the land of freedom? Or will they be forced to choose between sides?
There are only two actors on the stage who engage in a story full of plot twists, acting as the title heroes and a dozen or so other characters, appear in a number of settings, which makes it possible for the audience to look at the world with the child's eye. There are no props or decorations, all you will see is a dynamic, lively action, the rest happens in the imagination of the audience.
