When all the members of the family are asleep somebody wakes up. It is them: the little creatures living in our homes. For them
a shoehorn will be a perfect slide, and a clothes hanger a goal of a remote journey. They dream, laugh, fight, sometimes fall into
sadness and… they play theatre.
This witty and funny performance of Piotr Cieplak is based on the most popular poems of Julian Tuwim.
“The stage scenery easily draws our attention to the film <<Kingsajz>>, the cult Polish fantasy comedy set in a world where people
have different sizes. A large drawer, a gigantic electric socket, a cleaning mop reaching higher than the edge of the stage and a shoe
brush of the size of a bed. […]
The children were particularly impressed with Mariusz Benoit’s interpretation of <<Mr. Hilary>>, a character of one of Tuwim’s
poems who frantically looks for his missing glasses. Children roared with laughter (but so did the adults). […] You cannot miss the
interpretation of the poem <<Bird Radio>> with an extremely creative choreography of the birds’ talks and the character of the
<<Trąbalski the Elephant>> – again brilliantly played by Benoit who for a moment really looked like the forgetful Elephant.”

The performance was awarded by the Polish ASSITEJ Centre with a „Certificate of High Quality and Artistic Level”.
