[Piotr Ratajczak] focused on the script by Piotr Rowicki who set this story in modern times. (...) The script is brilliant. The idea to set Kondratiuk’s movie “Available Girls” (1972) on stage and place it in modern times turned out to be successful. Piotr Rowicki, with his infallible linguistic sense, presents the philosophical perception of three young girls from the country near Warsaw and three boys who pretend to be “in control of the situation”, even though they cannot control their own lives. A mélange of inapt language spoken by hipster and Internet environment does not only trigger a comic effect, but it also reveals the spiritual emptiness of the travellers, those involved in a rat race, and the girls who are longing for a change in their lives.   (Tomasz Miłkowski, Przegląd, 26.05.2014)  

The audience will be able to admire the outstanding actors of the Powszechny Theatre, including Eliza Borowska and Katarzyna Maria Zielińska (“Available Girls”, along with Agnieszka Piepiórska mentioned at the beginning) and Michał Napiątek, Grzegorz Falkowski, and Piotr Ligienza – an extraordinary weather forecaster and showman. Once you get some funny elements of stage design (furniture pulled out from the walls) and a fair amount of popular music, you have a perfect entertainment model as in “What are you laughing at?” Jan Stawarz, starring as the Engineer in Kondratiuk’s movie, recently told that the power of the “Girls” lies with the fact that “the film presents modern realities, and their display was so apt that it was painful”.
